Last Friday we had our annual Lá Glas. Each Year gets a theme and you must dress accordingly. Our year were leprauchauns or fairies. I was a Fairy. Most people dressed up and everyone looked amazing. At lunch their was a parade where each class enters one person into. The Judges pick the best costume for each year.

Scifest
On Friday we had our Scifest presentation. There was 33 groups entering. There was 4 judges that go around. All the projects looked amazing. I was in a group of three with Ava and Meadhbh. Our project was How food affects our energy levels. This is what is looks like

Conflict
This week we had to do a powerpoint on an area of conflict. I was in a group of three and we did ours in the London Riots 2011. It was really interesting to learn that most of the rioters were from well off families. Someone made a song about it.The link is on the prezi. Here is how it turned out.
